FORESTADENT presents a unique event on all aspects of airway management.

A fascinating and clinically multifaceted topic will be the focus of a very special professional development event in 2020 – treatment of the airways. A wide range of specialists, including orthodontists, are involved in interdisciplinary teams to work towards optimal outcomes for their patients. The AIRWAY Symposium, organised by FORESTADENT in Miami on 13-15 November 2020, will look at look at how the different disciplines can best work together in daily practice.

Sharing experience for improved airway management

Which techniques, appliances and training methods are being used today to support the airway and promote correct breathing? Leading experts from a wide variety of disciplines will look in detail at these and other question over three packed days. Examining and discussing the importance of nasal breathing in detail, looking at key factors involved in establishing multidisciplinary teams, treatment planning for optimal outcomes and drafting clinical therapy guidelines for all age groups – all of this will be talked about, experiences shared and strategies developed.

Experts from a wide range of disciplines share their knowledge

The line-up includes the orthodontists Dr Richard McLaughlin, Dr Domingo Martín and Dr Ron Roncone, the oral surgeons Dr William Arnett and Dr Michael Gunson, paediatric dentist Dr Kevin Boyd and Buteyko Breathing Technique practitioner Patrick McKeown. The symposium will be moderated by Prof. Ravindra Nanda.

We have booked the elegant Biltmore Hotel & Resort for the Airway Symposium. Close to both Miami Beach and Downtown Miami, it is ideally situated for taking a break from the event and exploring the area. The luxury hotel boasts a huge swimming pool and its own golf course. It will also host our pre-event gathering on 12 November and the gala dinner on 14 November 2020. We have reserved a contingent of rooms at a special rate (subject to availability).
The registration fee is USD 1,350 and includes the symposium, lunch, refreshments, the pre-event gathering and gala dinner. The fee is reduced to USD 1,200 for students/assistants (proof required).
